VuvuSport is Africa's home for football news. Founded in 2024, we set out to build a football media platform that puts African football at the centre of the conversation — not as a footnote to European coverage, but as a story worth telling in its own right.
From the Africa Cup of Nations to the Premier League, from the Nigerian Professional Football League to the Champions League, we cover the game wherever it's played, always through a lens that reflects the passion, culture, and talent of African football.
Our Mission
We believe that African football deserves world-class journalism. Our team of reporters, editors, and analysts work across the continent and beyond to deliver breaking news, match reports, tactical analysis, transfer scoops, and long-form features that do justice to the stories shaping the beautiful game.
We are committed to accurate, fair, and independent journalism. We do not accept payment for editorial coverage, and our newsroom operates independently of any football federation, club, or governing body.

VuvuSport's editorial team is spread across West Africa, North Africa, East Africa, and Europe. Our correspondents are embedded in the communities they cover, bringing local knowledge and authentic perspectives to every story. We are proud to employ and develop African journalism talent, and we actively mentor the next generation of sports reporters through our partnerships with journalism schools across the continent.
