Akor Adams Urges Super Eagles to Start 2030 World Cup Preparations Now

Sevilla striker Akor Adams has called on the Super Eagles to begin their preparations for the 2030 FIFA World Cup without delay, warning that a third consecutive absence from the tournament would deal a severe blow to Nigerian football.
Nigeria missed out on the 2022 World Cup following a heartbreaking playoff defeat to Ghana, and they will again be absent from this year's edition — co-hosted by Canada, Mexico, and the United States — after losing to the Democratic Republic of Congo on penalties in the African playoffs final last November.
Adams demands immediate action
With back-to-back failures to qualify weighing heavily on the squad, Adams insists the time to act is now. The three-time African champions cannot afford to find themselves on the outside looking in once more when the 2030 edition comes around.
