Borussia Dortmund Eye Loan Move for Arsenal Teenager Ethan Nwaneri

Borussia Dortmund are pursuing Arsenal midfielder Ethan Nwaneri ahead of the summer transfer window, with the 19-year-old reported to be open to a move to the Bundesliga giants, according to Sky Sport Deutschland.
The German club have made enquiries into Nwaneri's situation at Arsenal, where the youngster has struggled for regular first-team minutes this season. After making just six cameo appearances in the Premier League for the Gunners, Nwaneri was sent on loan to Marseille in the second half of the campaign.
Mixed fortunes in France
Nwaneri's time in Ligue 1 yielded nine league appearances for Marseille, during which he scored twice. The spell offered him meaningful game time, but questions remain over where his future lies heading into next season.
Transfer complications
Despite Nwaneri's reported openness to joining Dortmund, a permanent transfer is considered unlikely. Arsenal are expected to demand a high transfer fee for the teenager, who remains under contract at the Emirates until 2030.
A loan arrangement would appear the more realistic route — yet that path also carries complications, with sources suggesting Dortmund would face significant hurdles in securing even a temporary deal for the Arsenal prospect.
Dortmund, who won the Champions League in 1997, have nonetheless maintained their interest and are described as making another attempt to land Nwaneri, indicating previous pursuit of the player. Arsenal are yet to make any public statement on his future plans.
