Evra Says Salah Has Left Liverpool in the Worst Way Possible

Former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra has delivered a damning verdict on Mohamed Salah's departure from Liverpool, insisting the Egyptian forward has tarnished what should have been a legendary exit from Anfield.
Speaking in a conversation with Stake, Evra expressed deep disappointment at Salah's public statements and conduct following his confirmed decision to leave Liverpool at the end of the 2025-26 season, arguing the behaviour showed disrespect toward both the club and manager Arne Slot.
Frustration handled badly
The former France international acknowledged that Salah's outbursts likely grew out of frustration at being dropped to the bench — an unfamiliar situation for a player of his standing — but maintained the response was handled poorly.
