Jamaica head coach Rudolph Speid has conceded that defeating the Super Eagles in the 2026 Unity Cup final will be no easy task, hailing Nigeria as one of Africa's most powerful footballing nations.
The Reggae Boyz are set to face the Super Eagles on Saturday night at the Valley, London, in what will be a repeat of last year's showpiece — a final that Nigeria won 5-4 on penalties following a gripping 2-2 draw after 90 minutes.
Speid eyes improved result
Despite respecting the opposition, Speid is confident his squad can produce a stronger performance than 12 months ago against Éric Chelle's men.
