Kanu Backs Arsenal to Lift Champions League Trophy After Premier League Triumph

Former Nigeria international Nwankwo Kanu has declared his firm belief that Arsenal are destined to win the UEFA Champions League this season, riding the wave of their 2025/26 Premier League title.
Kanu pointed to Arsenal's squad depth, collective strength, and the momentum built from their domestic triumph as the foundations for European glory.
Kanu's bold prediction
"I told my friends that last season, we were struggling against Manchester City, and they went on to win the league. But this season, the table changed, and we have come out on top to win the Premier League title," Kanu said.
"In the same way, PSG won the Champions League last year, but I truly believe that this season it will be Arsenal's turn to go all the way and lift the trophy, making it a historic year for the club."
Enrique chasing history of his own
Standing in Arsenal's way is Luis Enrique's Paris Saint-Germain, who are bidding to become the first French club ever to win back-to-back European Cups. Enrique himself could join Carlo Ancelotti, Pep Guardiola, Bob Paisley, and Zinedine Zidane as only the fifth manager to claim three European titles.
Paris Saint-Germain's league phase was underwhelming — 14 points from a possible 24 — but Enrique's side rediscovered their best form in the knockout rounds, as has become something of a trademark under his stewardship.
Arsenal's historic unbeaten run
Arsenal enter the tie in remarkable form, remaining unbeaten in European competition this season. The Gunners have become the first side in history to go 14 UEFA Champions League games without defeat in a single campaign, a record that underlines just how far Mikel Arteta's squad has come.
Arsenal have also kept nine clean sheets in the competition — an unrivaled tally this term, and just one short of their own joint record of 10, set during the 2005-06 campaign alongside Real Madrid's 2015-16 effort.
With history beckoning and Kanu's blessing behind them, Arsenal head into the final with every reason to believe their 20-year wait for European supremacy is finally over.
