Mané and Jackson Lead Senegal's FIFA World Cup 2026 Squad

Sadio Mané and Nicolas Jackson will spearhead Senegal's attack at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, as head coach Pape Thiaw named a well-rounded squad blending experience with youthful energy.
Thiaw's selection includes a string of established names: goalkeeper Edouard Mendy, veteran defender Kalidou Koulibaly, midfielder Pape Matar Sarr, and winger Ismaïla Sarr all feature. Iliman Ndiaye and Bamba Dieng provide additional firepower up front alongside Mané and Jackson.
A tough group awaits the Teranga Lions
Senegal have been drawn in Group I alongside former world champions France, Norway, and Iraq — a formidable challenge for the Teranga Lions on football's biggest stage.
Thiaw's side open their campaign against France on June 16 at the MetLife Stadium, before taking on Norway on June 22. They conclude their group-stage fixtures against Iraq on June 26.
