Martin Odegaard has lifted the Premier League title as Arsenal captain — and the Norwegian has revealed that, deep down, he always knew a moment like this would come.

Odegaard becomes the first Arsenal skipper to win the league since Patrick Vieira in 2004, and the first to do so in the Emirates Stadium era, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this summer.

Speaking exclusively to FourFourTwo, the Norway international traced a path that began on a gravel pitch in Drammen and ended at the summit of English football.
