The penultimate weekend of the 2025-26 Premier League season produced goals, drama — and some of the most theatrical celebrations English football has seen in years, with Michael Jackson and Spider-Man both making surprise cameos on the pitch.

Osula channels the king of pop

Newcastle United striker William Osula doubled his side's lead in a 3-1 win over West Ham at St James' Park before a white glove was tossed to him from the touchline. Osula pulled it on without hesitation and struck one of Jackson's most recognisable poses, channelling the King of Pop in front of a delighted home crowd.

Le Fee swings into action

Earlier the same day at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, Sunderland midfielder Enzo Le Fee had his own moment. After putting Sunderland ahead in what became a 3-1 victory, Le Fee was handed a Spider-Man mask from the crowd, which he immediately wore before performing the superhero's iconic web-shooting hand gesture for the cameras.
