Pulisic, Adams, and Robinson Named in USA's 26-Man World Cup Squad

Mauricio Pochettino has named his 26-man United States squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with Tyler Adams, Antonee Robinson, and Christian Pulisic among the headline selections.
Adams, the Bournemouth midfielder, and Robinson, Fulham's first-choice left-back, are two of five players based in English football included in the roster. Leeds United midfielder Brenden Aaronson, Crystal Palace defender Chris Richards, and Coventry City forward Haji Wright complete that quintet.

Pulisic, who has established himself as one of AC Milan's key players, earns his place alongside Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie. Celtic centre-back Auston Trusty also receives a call-up, continuing his strong form in Scotland.
Borussia Mönchengladbach's Giovanni Reyna is included at 23 years old. The attacking midfielder is the son of former United States internationals Claudio Reyna and Danielle Reyna, and his selection carries significant backstory. Reyna was at the centre of a controversy surrounding the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, when reports emerged after the tournament that then coach Gregg Berhalter had nearly removed him from the squad over his conduct in training.
